Organization structure of the ICCS
The business and affairs of the Institute are managed by a Board of Management comprising of eleven Members. The Board of Management has appointed Committees to carry out various assignments.
Main Committees consist of Course Structure Committee, Fund Raising Committee ,Seminars and Finance Committee, Marketing, Editorial & Media Committee, Membership Affairs Committee, Student Affairs Committee and Board of Examiners.
Role of a Chartered Corporate Secretary
Chartered Corporate Secretaries are high ranking professionals (Chartered Secretaries , Corporate Secretaries, Company Secretaries, Board Secretaries) who are trained to uphold the highest standards of Corporate Governance, Effective Operations, Compliance and Management. They are employed as Chairpersons, Executive Directors aswell as Managers and Company Secretaries adding value to the Private aswell as Public Sectors of the Economy.
In addition, the Chartered Corporate Secretary is well positioned to interact with a range of senior officials and other stakeholders including Board Directors, Customers, Financial Regulators, Brokers, Shareholders, Auditors, the Inland Revenue Department and State Officials.
ICCS progress so far - Executive summary
The ICCS was set up on the 5th of October 2009 when 36 Members got together and declared their oaths as founder Members of the Institute. At the Founder Members' Meeting the office bearers were appointed and thereafter the Board of Management has had regular monthly meetings of the Board.
Offices have been located at a central location on the Galle Road in Colombo 3, where the Secretariat has been established. There are two members in the staff, one Chief Operating Officer and the other is the Administrative Secretary.

ICCSSL will be conducting the examinations on September 17th, 18th, 24th & 25th from 9.00 a.m to 4.30 p.m. Exam admissions will be posted to the respective students during the first week of July 2016. Last date for admissions is 29th July 2016.
