aria-labelledby=\"elementor-tab-title-2922\"><p>A candidate who has any one of the under mentioned admission criteria may register as a student :<\/p><ul><li>GCE (O\/L) &#8211; 2 Distinction and 3 Credits, including English Language.<\/li><li>GCE (A\/L) &#8211; 2 Passes, plus pass in General English and Credit in English Language at GCE (O\/L).<\/li><li><strong>Degree of a recognized University.<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Professional Qualification Holders.<\/strong><\/li><\/ul><div class=\"clearfix\">\u00a0<\/div><ul><li><strong>Part qualification of the ICSA UK<\/strong><\/li><\/ul><p>Subject Exemptions if any will be decided upon at the discretion of the Board of Management.<\/p><div class=\"clearfix\">\u00a0<\/div><ul><li><strong>Mature Students<\/strong><\/li><\/ul><p>Those over 25 years of age , who have passed six subjects in the GCE O\/L Examination and are proficient in the English Language with a minimum of two years&#8217; experience at middle management level in a corporate secretarial environment will be considered.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-accordion-item\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div data-tab=\"3\" role=\"region\" aria-labelledby=\"elementor-tab-title-2923\"><h5><strong>Procedure<\/strong><\/h5><h5>The Institute&#8217;s examinations can be attempted only by registered students of the Institute. An applicant must comply with the following in order to gain student memberships :-<\/h5><div class=\"clearfix\">\u00a0<\/div><ul><li>Application for registration must be made in the prescribed Application Form obtainable from the secretariat. Student who wish to receive the Student&#8217;s Guide and Application From by post should send a self addressed and stamped (Rs 100 \/- ) envelope (A4 size) to the Secretariat.<\/li><li>Every applicant for registration must provide evidence acceptable to the Institute as follows :-<ul><li>Certified copies of the relevant educational \/ professional qualifications.<\/li><li>Certified copy of the National Identity Card \/ Passport.<\/li><li>Two stamp size colour photographs certified on the reverse.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>Every applicant for registration must be recommended as fit and proper for admission to the examinations of the Institute by a Member of the Institute or by a person of professional standing.<\/li><\/ul><div class=\"clearfix\">\u00a0<\/div><h5>The decision of the Institute on all applications shall be final.<\/h5><div class=\"clearfix\">\u00a0<\/div><h5><strong>Fee for registration<\/strong><\/h5><h5>Payment by cheque to cover registration fees payable to the &#8220;Institute of Chartered Corporate Secretaries of Sri Lanka&#8221; and crossed &#8220;Account Payee only&#8221; . Cash will also be accepted in special circumstances.<\/h5><div class=\"clearfix\">\u00a0<\/div><h5><strong>ICCS Secretariat Hours :-<\/strong><\/h5><div class=\"clearfix\">\u00a0<\/div><div class=\"row\"><div class=\"col-md-2\">Monday &#8211; Friday<\/div><div class=\"col-md-10\">9.00 AM &#8211; 5.00 PM<\/div><\/div><div class=\"clearfix\">\u00a0<\/div><div class=\"row\"><div class=\"col-md-2\">Saturday<\/div><div class=\"col-md-10\">9.00 AM &#8211; 1.00 PM<\/div><\/div><div class=\"clearfix\">\u00a0<\/div><h5><strong>Fee for registration<\/strong><\/h5><h5>Applications for registration as a student can be submitted at any time. However, if the applicant wishes to sit for an upcoming examination the following dates must be observed :-<\/h5><div class=\"clearfix\">\u00a0<\/div><ul><li>25th October for applicants wishing to sit the March examination.<\/li><li>25th April for applicants wishing to sit the September examination.<\/li><\/ul><p>Registering as a student confers no Corporate Membership or Voting rights. Success in the prescribed examinations does not give automatic entitlement to Corporate Membership. Students failing to settle the renewal fees on or before the due date will be removed from the Register.
